Based in the heart of Idaho for 35 years, we know what it means to get close with Mother Nature. We've been an Outfitter for the State of Idaho doing bird and wildflower tours and have written articles for local magazines on birding and gardening for the birds. We've hiked, biked, floated, birded and camped in some of the most beautiful country around. We've used the binoculars and scopes till they've worn out so we know which ones last and which ones work best so we can help you choose which ones will work best for you. We've tested the "Rite in the Rain" products and have shelves full of bird books and nature books that we think have the best info. And we know which items we'd like to receive as gifts, the ones we may not buy for ourselves. We use these products extensively to lead nature walks for our local Environmental Resource Center and when we do bird counts at Silver Creek Preserve Nature Conservancy (link to their Page) and Idaho Fish and Game (link to their page). Our favorite pastime is showing John Q. Public, no matter what their age, how to get down and dirty and learn about this great land.
