0 commentsWe've just added Zen-Ray Optics to our website. We're very excited about it because Zen-Ray's new ZEN ED3 8x43 just recieved very high honors in a comparison of midpriced 8x binos by BirdWatchers Digest. Another reason we like them is because they have an
interpupilary distance of just 56mm to 74mm! What that means is that those of you with close set eyes or smaller faces (yes, that means women and children) can now have a pair of binos that don't give them black-out right when they get on that rare bird. Check out the binos and monoculars

0 commentsSpring could be just around the corner...or so it would seem with the time change. My mood always seems to lighten when we have more evening light, and about this time the Oregon juncos return to my yard. Mating ritual I've seen so far- hooded mergansers are spreading that beautiful hood (even though it was at a flock of gadwalls), great-horned owls are on the nest and birds at my feeder have given chase. Migration has begun and it will be good to see the return of our old friends.
