The perfect ball cap for your bird watching outing. The Ancient Wing design is embroidered on the front of the ball cap and the words "BIRD ON" are embroidered on the back over the strap.
One of the oldest fossils found with feathers, Archaeopteryx lithographica was found near Blumenberg, Germany in 1877 and is about 150 million years old. Named after the limestone quarry where the original fossil was discovered, Archaeopteryx lithographica means “ANCIENT WING FROM THE PRINTING STONE”. This depiction was created to bring birdwatchers good luck on any birding adventure. Designed by artist Poo Wright-Pulliam.
